    Nice!

Mostly the work of a solitary soul it appears as well...damn.

Too bad I don't have an up-to-date Mac, how are the physics?

Yup, I posted about Racer here long ago when the Mac port was first made and then again when the last update was released.

The physics are good *IF* you can properly balance the car -- that's the hard part. Otherwise, it's gonna suck. Hard. Last I checked, the physics were still very buggy and it was way too easy to flip a car. What's worse is that the physics just got completely insane when the car rolls over, bouncing you either a hundred feet into the sky or dropping you through the track into oblivion.

The game is a lot more fun once you switch on the options for music and full-screen.

    It has great potential.

Here's a car I was working on porting a while back:

And here's a cool movie showing off some... uh... strange physics settings. Yes, when the shocks decompress, they will often actually put the wheels back in the wrong place. Ick!

Here's a (slightly ) more serious attempt, but if you watch the very last few seconds you'll see the physics go haywire again:

And here you can see that it's a Bad Thing? to veer from the track:

Brad, remind me that if the opportunity ever arises, i DO NOT want to ride in your car.
