There I was with an external I couldn't write to, or format in OSX, so what options did I have, really? give up, NO! I went looking at first for a program that would format my NTFS to FAT32, without the 32 Gb limit, I couldn't really find an easy one off the bat, so I got DOS BOX emulator (freeware) .70, mounted the drive to the DOS BOX emulator in OSX and formatted it. I never thought I could format in such a way or, for that matter find a program that would be so forgiving. Just thought I'd share....

Did you get passed that 32GB limit?

Yes, I in fact did, it's pretty cool, I used a freeware program whose sole mission is to format FAT32 to any size.
