amateur needs iMovie help!

Hi! I have imported WAY too much video into one project, thinking when I went to burn my project that it could spill onto more than one dvd the way iTunes will let you if you have too much music for one cd.

What should I do? How do I separate all of the clips into small enough projects, now that they are all in one?

TIA!

April

Well you could drag and drop clips into a new project window as long as you have the most recent version of iMovie. You also need to remember that you do not have to use everything you import into iMovie. You can pick and choice clips and edit those. Even if you imported a single large clip you can split that too. How many clips do you have?
