Can anyone share why it is so dissicult to find this? Could I be the only one looking for this?
Any insight would be appreciated.

ExpressCards do not work in PowerBooks. You're looking for a CardBus card, but so far I haven't seen any that support OS X.

Sorry, my eyes saw "G4" and my brain thought "MacBook Pro," because that's what I own.

So, are you looking for an ExpressCard for the MacBook Pro, or a CardBus card for a PowerBook?

I have a G4 Powerbook 17" 1.67Mhz, so does this take a Cardbus or Expresscard? Is Cardbus PCMCIA? So it seems people out there are looking for a Wireless N just like me. Is it possible to modify the laptop to accomodate Wireless N?

PCMCIA is an industry association that made the specs for both CardBus and ExpressCard. A PowerBook has CardBus. A MacBook Pro has ExpressCard.
