Read this Macworld article.



I think this is one of the most thoughtful and respectful articles on switching that I have ever read.



It sums it up without any hyperbole or invective.



Clarity and sanity are rarities.

    I find it funny, funny in that most of what he is saying has always been true (with the exception of the switch to Intel - that's new), yet he is just now seeing it. I guess the Mac had to go Intel to get recognized as the better solution. Funny!

    Yes, a lot of it was already true. I don't understand why MS should be afraid though since, in fact, it was always true... and Apple still has the same estimated active 25 million userbase they had when Jobs returned a decade ago. The article implies an impending threat, but Apple was always seen as an "impending" threat.
