Widescreen on Tibook Apple DVD Player

Hello, is there any way to morph a widescreen movie to the widscreen on the Tibook so there are no black bars on the top? Thanks

    no, there isn't. the movie is encoded in a certain way. you can't change that.



    and btw, there are always (except if it's coded 4:3) black bars at the bottom and the top. On a widescreen, they just aren't that big.

    well, there are always bars because the widescreen displays sport a 16:10 ratio while what you see in a movie theater is 16:9. It also depends on whether or not the movie is built in anamorphic widescreen or not. And really, they all should be imho

    on the top, not the side. on the side there are never any bars...
