Using a Macbook Pro in the UK?
Hi,
I'm hoping to use a Macbook Pro in the UK, and wondered whether it would be possible for me to avoid having to buy the World Travel Kit from Apple?
I currently have a UK iPod charger. Would it be possible to attach the 'head' from this onto the Magsafe power adaptor?
Thanks in advance,
Paul

RadioShack typically has such adapters for just a few bucks.
I'm already in the UK - do you think that this product would do the job?

Yes - that is exactly what you should do.
This is what I do when I travel from the UK to the US. I just pull off the UK plug and replace it with the US version.
The Apple power supplies are universal.

Looks fine to me.
P.S. My brother does this with his iBook G4 and my iPod UK plug
Yes just change the heads - No need for adapter - Remember they are laptops, they are designed to work on dual voltage, thats what makes them portable.

Yes this man tells the truth just us the ipod charger plug head thing and wack that on your MBP power pack. It will work.
