ExpressCard Slot on MBP - No Workie
Greetings folks -
I'm at wit's end here. I just bought my first ExpressCard for my MBP: a Bytecc eSATA adapter. Keep in mind, this is the first time I've tried to insert an ExpressCard into my MBP, which I've had for about a year. The card goes in almost all the way, and then stops. If I release the card, the MBP "spits" it back out at me, as if there were a spring kicking the card back. No matter what I do, I can NOT get this card to connect to anything or stay inserted in the MBP.
I intend to bring the card into work tomorrow and see if the same problem exists on other MBPs there. If it does, then I'll know it's the card. If not, then something's very wrong with my MBP.
Anyone seen anything like this in the past? An MBP just refusing to take an ExpressCard?
