VERY SLOW Burner Problems
My internal burner broke down so I bought an external one (Kangaru Quicksilver with USB 2.0). The burn speed is even slower than the internal burner was. (It took 15 minutes to burn 1 music CD.
MY mac is 6.5 years old, and has a slow processor. A friend told me that it was burning slow because of the high speed usb 2.0. He said my computer cannot handle that kind of cable speed. Does anyone agree? Any other ideas of why it is burning so slow?

If the aforementioned macintosh has PCI slots, you can get a USB 2.0 card for a pittance.
