iMac & the Airport

Please forgive my ignorance ... I've been a PC all my life. Currently I am looking at purchasing an iMac and I use a cable modem for internet connection. As I understand it, I could purchase an Apple WiFi (Airport) ... connect it to my cable modem ... and set my iMac in a remote room of my house and get internet connection via the iMac internal WiFi. My printer would connect directly to the Airport router ... or should I purchase a WiFi printer ... it could be used remotely as well. Does this sound do-able? \

    Yes, that's how it works.

You can plug a USB printer into the Airport (WiFi router) OR into your Mac and share it over the network either way.
