Has anyone found a good piece of software for organizing recipes? Would love to consolidate all the pieces of paper, torn out magazine pages, and printed out emails from long ago into a single place.
I use a freeware called YUM!. Works great, and has the extra feature of being able to cut and paste into its windows. I get a recipe e-zine each day, and when I want to save the recipe, I can just copy and paste. Other software I have tried won't let you do that. Now, I have not explored it enough to say what other features it has (recipe doubling amounts, shopping lists, etc.), but it does have a good categorization feature. I like it very much.
I'm a satisfied MacGourmet user as well. It has an excellent "Clipping" feature which lets you paste a recipe copied from a webpage and quickly turn it into a "real" recipe. The MacGourmet recipe file format is also popular with some recipe websites, so you can just one-click-import a recipe directly from the site.
A third recommendation for MacGourmet. The latest version is really nice and as nevenmrgan wrote, the recipe importing, from supported sites, is a great timesaver.

I've read good things about Yummy Soup as well.
