I just ordered my new MBP and when it arrives I would like to test the screen for dead pixels or other anomolies. does anyone know how to do this. I would appreciate some help.
run it on your new mac ~ it will turn your screen red, green, blue, white and black and you can inspect the screen to see hot or dead pixel's. I have a MBP and it has one tiny dead pixel ~ bothered me for about 5 minutes, I never notice it unless I really inspect it... My first MBP I took back to the apple store about 3 days after I got it because there were like 6 dead pixels... they exchanged it.
