Okay, this isn't that big of a deal....but i want to know what could cause this. (it's just kind of weird)

I opened iDVD, and it told me my iMac does not have a supported SuperDrive (I can burn DVD's...just not DL DVD's). Whats weird is, it worked before....

So whats going on? it also told me there was a new update, but there wasn't.....

Try these steps they may help

    Repair the permissions

    Check the HD for errors

Ru either Onyx or Mainmenu and do a deep system/user cache clean and remove any temporary files

    Re-Installed the lastest iDVD update

And as a last reosrt reset the PRAM/SMU (PPC Macs) or SMC (Intel Macs)

    Lets know what happens
