333MHz RAM on MacBook

Hello,
I have obtained a 333 Mhz RAM module (PC-2700) and I'd like to know if its possible to install this on my white Macbook (1.83 Core 2 Duo)?

No, this won't work because it is DDR-RAM and not DDR
2
-RAM. The MacBook needs PC2-5300 RAM (667 MHz).

Ok, thanks for the information. So, will any pc2-ddr work or strictly 5300?

I'd say get the 5300 stuff only. If you get anything slower, it'll slow down your entire computer and i fyou get anything faster it won't do you any good.

OK, I guess I'll play it safe then. Too bad I'll have to pump out money but its better than ruining my beloved MacBook.

No, this won't work because it is DDR-RAM and not DDR2-RAM. The MacBook needs PC2-5300 RAM (667 MHz).
