Is Mother's day in the US on a different date to the UK?

is it? in the uk its on the 25th march or something, but on certain US sites im seeing advertisment for mothers day.
just wondering...

Mother's Day in the US (and Canada?) is this Sunday, May 13th. It's always the second Sunday in May. You can see when other countries celebrate it
here

We celebrate Mother's Day earlier because we love our mothers more.
