Buy Apple Macbook now..or later?

With the new OS coming out soon, would it be smarter to wait until it comes out to buy my new laptop...or is it free to upgrade? How much is it to upgrade? etc.

    Get it now, Tiger is nice and stable and secure, etc. That is what I would suggest. Realistically it would be shipping with new Macs say end of October, but January++ 2008 is when it would start to become more mature, etc. etc.
