New view on the G5
If the article in time is correct, the new iMac sports a G4 at 750MHz. Since the introduction of the G4, apple has always tried to keep a gap between consumer and pro machines, and I can't imagine them not keeping things this way.
So they just can't sell a PowerMac G4 @ 876MHz anymore. The options are :
