Sound on macbook

Hi there,



I have just got my first mac and loving it (macbook). The speakers seem ok I guess they aren't going to be that powerful and I would love to play some music from itunes. I am thinking of getting the apple hifi as it is just one unit and I can also dock an ipod if I wish + I can take it outside in the garden.



Does anyone have any views or good alternatives to playing music from my macbook.

Are headphones a viable option for you?

Not really. We are renting and want to have access to tunes and also use the macbook to watch dvd's.
