Airport Extreme Mini PCI Card in Digital Audio G4 733mhz

I have an old Digital Audio G4 733mhz machine that I am currently using as a server. I want to put an Apple Airport Extreme Mini PCI card in my G4, however I do not have the mini pci slot. I have seen on eBay and Newegg a Mini PCI to PCI adapter card that will all you to hookup a mini pci card to a normal pci slot. Has anyone ever done this, if so did it work well?
