This is interesting because not only is it a worm targeting Linux and Mac, it is doing so via a piece of open source software. Nonetheless, it's only a Macro so it's the same deal as all the Macros that were on the classic OS that ran through Office Visual Basic.
I expect that viruses will come the more that people are switching to Linux and Macs. People often falsely assume this is the only advantage that these systems have over Windows and as soon as a few viruses get out then the party's over. That guy in the video just like Symantec want to play up the idea of there being viruses out and they're coming to get you because they sell anti-virus software for a living. There still aren't any known viruses for OS X in the wild.

I read the ZDnet report. It didn't say anything about NeoOffice. Can someone verify this, please?
