Multiple Burning CD-R, Rewrite

Hi there,



I have this problem: I would like to backup the documents on my PowerBook G4 Mac Os X 10.4.9 on a DVD-R. I want to reburn this DVD once a week or so by using the reburn option of the Disk Utility Program.



I referred to this instruction on the apple site, didn't get far. http://www.apple.com/pro/tips/burnmulti.html The checkbox "Leave disc appendable" is not active, I can't click on it...



Any suggestions?

DVD-R's aren't reburnable. There's your problem. You need DVD-RW or DVD+RW for rewriting.
