Is FP iMac 700 enough for AfterEffects?

To follow up on a previous thread about getting into AfterEffects and LiveMotion, etc.. I'm wondering if my machine is enough to run these programs well.



There are the basic requirements given by Adobe, but I don't want to just get by.

My FP iMac /700 15" has only 256mb...is 512 sufficient or will going to 768mb make a big difference?



One last thing, is 1024x768 "usable" with AfterEffects?

    Go 768, huge difference, other than that it runs fine on my 17 incher. So I gather you should be fine as well.

    Thanks but I have the 15" iMac... concerned it may be a tad tight with all those windows.
