I expected more Top Secret features, but I was satisfied overall. The Finder and UI improvements were long overdue. The other surprises like Safari and the iPhone stuff was good. I also think there are still things in Leopard that are secret that don't impact developers and new apps, so they can be announced later on.
Developers are there for the sessions which just started today so it'll be a while before you get complete responses.
As for the keynote I think most developers look at things a bit differently than the consumer. Developers should often read between the lines and see how the technologies presented can make their applications better or faster to complete. Thus they aren't looking to get "blown away" generally like the consumer. That's my two pennies
I'm pretty damn satisfied with Leopard and you can bet that there are going to be a lot of little refinements that I'm going to like in UI and performance features.
We're only on the first day of WWDC! Mostly state of the union type sessions today. I'm satisfied so far, but as hmurchison said, I'm here for the sessions, which really start tomorrow.
