The photo jobs used to compare speeds of 64 and 32 bit, it was 4gb in size and 30k by 30k pixels, anyone got any idea where you can get it? lol, i thought it was pretty cool.

    i actually thought that was incredible. i had no idea you could have pictures like that

    i think that picture and pictures like it are basically gigantic panoramic shots that are stitched together. i do panoramic photography for landscapes and even those files can end up being multi-hundred-meg files. they probably just use a really nice long lens and shoot an array of photos and stitch them into one gigantic photo. like the ones you see on the internet that seem to be able to zoom infinitely.
