Time Machine Question...

Hello all,



Just a quick one...



Will Time Machine in Leopard work with a USB HDD connected to the older UFO-style Airport Extreme Base Station? There seems to be no mention of specific Airport Extreme support, and I'm not expecting it wouldn't work, but just wondering if anyone here had any info.

    Can you access that USB HDD right now with your Mac? If so I'd assume that it's likely you can access it via Leopard and Time Machine.

    Unfortunately, Hard drive access is a feature of the new Airport Extreme only. The older model only allows for wireless printing. Talk about incentive to upgrade, huh?
