Cable or Dish

Recently bought a plasma HD set for the bedroom. I'm trying to decide whether to stick with cable (about 10 HD channels, more supposedly coming) or go with dish ( over 100 HD channels this summer). What do you all think?

The main thing that made me stay away from the dish is that during storms the signal easily gets lost. I don't know about you, but when it's raining outside I want my TV to work.

If you are into football and want to see all the games then the dish is the way to go because cable only has the NBA, MLB, and NHL. The NFL channels are exclusive to dish... except for the NFL Network and local games or games on Fox or ESPN.

I don't know for sure, but I think that to get a signal you also HAVE to have a box for any of the channels with the dish. When you can hook up as many cable ready TVs and get basic cable on them without getting another box.

The Dish might have many more HD channels right now. But I'm sure cable will catch up soon.

And make sure the extra HD channels are actually worth it and are channels you would be interested in.
