Recording system audio in OS X?
What is the simplest way of recording system audio in OS X? I have noticed that a lot of the apps I've downloaded don't pick up audio through Soundflower for some reason..
I want to record audio in Safari, bring to Garage Band, edit out all the audio I don't need, send to iTunes and burn to audio CD, can anyone help me? I have found a way really complex and time consuming route for doing this, but I'm just looking for an app or a way of doing it simply. I'll be doing this from time to time, so I really need a streamlined way of doing this, please help?

Never heard of recording in Safari. Recording in iTunes is simple: I use Audio High Jack Pro. Works really great. Hope that helps.
Thanks but it doesn't, I need to be able to record system audio for good quality from audio that's playing on a site in Safari. Recording what's coming out of the speakers just isn't good enough quality for what I'm doing, it needs to be system recording, and from my efforts Audio HiJack can't pick up system audio through Soundflower for some reason. The irony of all my efforts is that the iShowU screen-capture software app has no problem recording system audio that's coming from any source within OS X, it even offers to install Soundflower to help that process, but getting that audio onto an audio CD requires a number of more steps, while trying to keep the quality of the audio up along the way. I guess I'll keep looking.. I would be grateful if someone knew the solution though.
