Toast 5.2 in OS X.2.3

I have two hard drive installed, 40 gig +120 gig. I store all data files on the 120 gig which set as slave. Toast keeps crashing when I try to back up data from that drive, but it works perfect with the files of the other master drive. Does anyone has the same problem?
