The New MacBook Pro_SCREEN PROBLEMS

Hi I'm new to this forum. Maybe somebody out there can help me out.

Bought the new macbook pro, looks great, feels great, except I've encountered a couple of problems, already!

1) Everytime I use the keyboard to type text (such as email for example, or Word, or whatever) the screen goes darker and brighter! Back and forth! It's only when I stop typing that it goes back to normal.

Can anyone give any feedback on this?

2) The second problem is that the machine is steaming hot. I don't know if this is normal, or just a fault in this particular machine, or a genaral fault for this new generation of Macbook Pro which Apple have to recall and correct.

Many thanks.

Try turning off the ambient light sensor and see if that eliminates screen flicker.

Oh yeah, wrong forum too. Your post should be either in Current Hardware or Genius Bar.

Take it to an Apple store and show them to see if this is a defect or have them tell you what to do to fix the problem.
