Switch 2 Maxtor 300GB FW RAID to Airport NAS?
I use two 300GB Maxtor OneTouch II drives in a mirrored RAID configuration connected to my 12" PB via FW 400.
Can I use these same drives connected from their USB ports and via a USB hub to my latest edition Airport Extreme, with software update, and with no configuration change at all, thereby using them as a NAS RAID drive ?
I tried this right after I bought the new Airport Extreme and the drives were not recognized, and I understand this was (still is?) an issue with the new Airport Extreme. However, a month or two ago I installed the software update, but have not made another attempt to make this work. I am reluctant to lose data so I hope someone here can provide an opinion as to whether this should work.

EDIT: It appears some RAID 1 or 0 enclosures work with the AEBS N, such as the Iomega UltraMax 1TB: http://discussions.apple.com/thread....49075� so I guess I'll give that a shot and use my Maxtors for something else.
