Checking HD speed

in Current Mac Hardware edited January 2014
Just from keeping up on who has gotten their new MBP it seems I was a little ahead of the pack placing my order in on 6/18 and getting it on my door on 6/28. I got the 2.4 with the 7200 rpm HD upgrade. Bascially like the topic hints, Is there a way to check your HD speed? IS there something in my HD profile that will tell me? Just want to make sure that I didnt get my computer without the thing I waited and paid for.

Hardware Profiler does not give it to you. What you need to do is go to About This Mac / More info / Hardware / ATA. That will give you both your hard disk and your super drive. Copy the model number and google it. That will give you all the info on your HD.
