iPhone not connecting to Verizon Fios Wi-Fi

so im trying to get the phone to connect to my verizon fios router, it says its connected but everytime i go to safari and try to load a page, it says EDGE cannot be found therefore safari cannot connect to the server (btw my phone is in the midst of activation)....what to do?

    but i see other people are able to connect to wifi without the activation...is this true?



    i mean it says its connected just wont load anything
