YouTube - borrowing Apple code?

Has anyone noticed that the YouTube player is looking awfully OSX-y? If you hit the menu button, there's a graphical list of programs that magnify exactly like the dock, each accompanied by their own Coverflow-like reflection. When you put a video in fullscreen mode, the transparent black message to "Press ESC to exit full screen mode" looks like it came straight out of QuickTime's fullscreen mode. It can't be coincidence that this came out close to YouTube's integration with Apple TV and iPhone. I just wonder if Apple will try to spread the Core Animation paradigms into other web apps.
