Band in a Box
Is there an alternative to Band in a Box for the Mac?
PG Music seems loath to publish an update, inspite of saying it would do so before the end of last year.
I don't accept that running the Windows version in Bootcamp is the way to go as it means that it helps those that say there is no point in producing for the Mac OS as they can run Windows now

Band in a Box isn't the best program for what it does, but it's the only one that does it.
If I heard of a more Mac-friendly piece of software with the same functionality, I'd be all over it in a New York second. I remember when BiaB 12 came out (about a year after the PC version) some of the discussion on the PG Music forums revealed an alarming lack of knowledge about the Mac platform on their part. They seemed to have some difficulty understanding concepts like the Applications folder and the Library folder.
I note from VersionTracker that there is an update from last December. I'm surprised they cared that much.
