I'm Sure I'm not alone on this. I have been jumping back and forth from Font Reserve to Suitcase and back again <I'm in OS 10.2.3 land> I hate fonts. thoughts on better font management? Font Databasing? how do you handle your fonts?

Please save me

One of the nicest things about OSX is that you can drag a whole folder of fonts, each in their own folder, into the main folder directory or your users font directory.

I usually fiddle with whatever fonts I am using (kinda partial to the Chank fonts and others from his army) by draggin out of this folder. I rarely use the basics for normal text, and graphic I create are saved as illustrator files, so I don't usually have to worry about including fonts with it while sending.

In a pinch, I can use Suitcase 10.

I can't be bothered to mess around: they all live in the System Library. The pleasures of having lots of RAM...

Currently using Fontreserve 3.1.1. Eagerly awaiting the next update to fix all the UI issues, among other things. Still, it's better than Suitcase IMHO

I have a dual 533 896 megs of ram.. how many fonts would you want in the Fonts folder? I thought that was a big speed killer?

Depends on which program you are in. I find scrolling through Illustrator's font listing to be tiresome. I think Photoshop is the same.

If it is an application which uses the system font menu you can build separate collections to help yourself organize. (Keynote uses this...)
