anyone know how to use a sparse image file in parallels?

That is not a good way of asking a question when you are getting a favor in the reply. Take the time to ask the question.
But tha answer is that you can't use a sparce image file as either the container, or as a direct resource inside of the virtual environment.

Aren't they already sparse images? After all, they expand dynamically the more stuff you add into them. There is an option somewhere to use static images but I'm sure they use sparse by default.
