iPhone tragedy! Screen broke...

Nothing wrong with the phone / display itself, but there's a large crack across the glass that covers it. It dropped out of my pocket when I was stepping out of the car and landed on gravel...



After much cursing and tears, I'm now here to ask the question - how much do you all think it would take to fix this phone?

    That sounds almost like a defect since others are marveling over how strong/sturdy the glass is.

    Yeah, I dropped it a few times and it was a-ok.



    The problem this time was the gravel, with all the sharp points etc.

    I suppose you'll have to pay for a hefty repair fee or simply buy a new one. Let us know what you decide.

    It sounds like the amount of damage produced when Ars had a 250 pounds guy step on it on a sidewalk. It must have hit just right.
