FCP / Compressor issue

i did the update for fcp 6.01 and all the other apps for studio and ever since compressor and cinema tools won't launch. i reinstalled fcp 5 and the same thing happened.

the crash log says:

I know we all tend to post to fora that we are familiar with, but really I would have thought that questions like this would stand more chance of an informed answer if posted where there is a substantial audience of seasoned FCP users. Try
