iTunes & Organizing Your Soundtracks

Hey people, I need your help!

I'd really love to know how to organize my soundtracks in the iTunes Library. I know it, but only partly. I thought someone here might help me figure out the rest of my problem.

OK, so I have a soundtrack. All songs of the soundtrack are set as "Compilation". (Get Info)

I also checked this option "Group compilation when browsing library". (Edit>Preferences)

I also organize all of my albums under "Album Artist" so I can keep the original artists (see picture).

It seems nice but the problem is that the songs are not in the right order. iTunes organizes the soundtrack album by names of original artists (like Betty Carter, Bill Withers, Bobby Darin, Eeels etc.). Is there any way how to fix this?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Try clicking on the track number header.

Clicking on track number will probably put all the tracks entitled "1" from all Albums at the top of the list - if you then select by album they should appear as you'd like them.

Yeah, Paul_T is right, it doesn't work that way. I'd like to stick with organizing my library by Artists.

EDIT: I found the solution. Thanks.
