Help wanted Leopard Install

I am an Apple Developer and as such have downloaded the latest version of Leopard. I don't want to install on my 24' Intel Mac but have an older imac (17"/preIntel) that I have tried to install it on twice. I get an error saying it cant be installed because it cant create the folder. When this happens I have to completely reinstall MAC OSX which is a major pain the arse. I have downloaded the last two versions of Leopard but cant get them to install..any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated

    So you download leopard, burn it to a disk, boot from the disk, and try to install, right? Where do you get the error message?

    I know I had some issues on my PowerBook as well. Seems the DVD drive wasn't up to the task of booting from a dual-layer DVD.



    ...yeah, that's what I thought, too.
