USB rejects files from Mac

I bought a SanDisk 4 GB USB drive. When I try to copy files from Mac to the USB, I get an error message:

This file could not be moved because "U3 System" cannot be modified.



I tried trashing the U3 system, but I get an error message:

The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for 'LaunchU3.exe".



How can I trash the U3 system and/or copy to the USB drive?
