New Apple Monitors??

Has anyone heard anything on whether or not Apple will be coming out with new monitors?

    Rumors about new Cinema Displays have been circulating slowly for months. They probably won't get updated until Apple has a sufficient supply of LED, so... they're in no hurry.



    P.S. They're displays, not monitors in Apple lingo.

    The monitor reference usually implies a tube screen based product. Apple abandoned the tube screen a long time ago and switched to an all LCD line of cinema wide displays. New displays will probably be released with, or near the time they release the new Mac Pro. I would imagine a new enclosure for the Mac Pro, and the new display will probably match. There is a 99.9% guarantee it will have a built in iSight camera.



    When is anybodys guess. Mine is MWSF. (Jan)
