From Engadgets coverage:

Tim: "We're refreshing the Mac mini today."

So where is it, and why didn't they give it a formal announcement?

It'll be in the Apple store when it comes up, and because it's probably just a speed bump up to C2Ds on Santa Rosa. Nothing to write home about.

Actually, the keyboard without the number pad is just the Bluetooth wireless variant of the new keyboard.

Not even Santa Rosa. Just a CPU bump.

C'mon Apple, how hard would it be to drop at least an X1300 mobility in there, and put one in the MacBook too?

I'd buy a Mini in a heartbeat if it was capable of even casual gaming!

(yeah, I know all the reasons for it, but I don't have to like it. I may not be a power gamer, but I like the occasional game, and a GPU that chokes on 3/4 year old games is not my idea of fun...)
