Long Live The Chin!!!
Alright!
Take THAT you chinless naysayers! The "chin" SURVIVES!
Bwa-ha-HA!
Without it, the new imac would have been a faceless screen in a sea of conformity.
I am happy to see the face is still there...staring back....smiling...sticking its chin proudly and defiantly in the air.
LONG LIVE THE CHIN!!!
ALL HAIL THE CHIN!!! :-P

That being said, even IF i needed a second monitor, I wouldn't mind that the imac had a chin and the apple cinema display didn't. It wouldn't bother me at all. In fact, it'd signify that one WAS the main computer, and the other was just a screen.
But regardless, i just dig the chin. Wether its an aesthetic reason or a functional one...it works for me. For one, I like that it DOESN'T just look like a screen. Booooooring.
I like to KNOW its a computer still.
Plus, and I've said this before...I like the space of the "chin" to post notes on and personalize it further. It gives the imac "character" that you just wouldn't get without a chin. IMHO.
Anyway...it runs the best OS in the world...so thats what really counts!
Cheers
Love the chin
Nonetheless, I think the new pricing looks pretty good, no GMA in the imacs at all now and the lowest GPU is about half the speed of the 8600M GT so that's about the same as the old X1600.
i second that
Have to wait until Rev .6
