iphoto 08 problem

Upgraded to iphoto 08 but have come across a problem. I have a fuji f47 camera, on iphoto 06 it let me import video no problem. but on 08 it crashes when I try to import, photos are not a problem. I have the latest patch for iphoto, Anyone else having similar problem or know of any solution to this.
