Made the switch--now what?

Last night I put in my order for a MacBook. Here are the specs.

2.16GHz

2 gigs memory

160GB hard drive

White, if you're interested in the color.

The computer I've been saving for all summer will be here in about a week, so my question to you guys is--what should I do first?

Should I run diagnostic tests to make sure I don't have any dead pixels?

What kinds of programs should I make sure that I get?

Anything you wish you would have done upon getting your darling new notebook out of its nice packaging.

Buy AppZapper. Buy SuperDuper. Buy iWork. Install Inquisitor. Install Quicksilver. Install Safari 3. Install Skype. Set up Google talk with iChat.

Ireland, just curious - why use BOTH SuperSuper and Quicksilver?

    SuperDuper: backup.

    Quicksilver: launcher, macros, hotkeys.

Ahhh. My mistake. I was mixing up Quicksilver with SilverKeeper (another backup program).
