Itunes has vanished from my computer

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
ok, i tried to download the new updated itunes. after doing it the entire thing vanished. everytime i try to open it the icon will appear on the dock and then vanish. what the hell is going on? the weirdest thign is, if i go under guest itunes opens.



i have no idea what is going on

    Sounds like some administrative problem blocking you from installing/updating? You said under guest the install worked? Try making a new user.

    what do you mean? i'm the admin to this laptop. how do i make a new user without losing everything? i dont even think you can delete the admin name can you?
