Firefox does strange things

I've never seen this before. When I try to use Firefox, it starts up with two different sites. The left side of one site on the right half of the window and the right side of a site on the left side of the window. Have you seen this happen? What can be done to correct it?

    Man, that sounds seriously buggered. Sorry but I've never seen that before... have you tried deleting Firefox & reinstalling?

    Reinstalling it DID help except for one site. If I click a certain bank, the right side still shows up on the left side and the left side of my Gmail home page shows up on the right side of the window. Since that's the only place it screws up, I can live with it. I'm concerned that if I fool around with it too much, it will return to ALL crap.
