Icewind Dale problems

Ok, I just recieved my new minibook on Valentine's day (yaay!), and I popped in a copy of the game Icewind Dale for Mac OS X. Everything went fine and dandy untill I tried to create a charachter. The game brought me to the "party formation"screen, and gave me buttons to press that said "Create Charachter". These buttons opened up a window which said "CHARACHTER" at the top, then had darkened buttons for creating or deleting a charachter. It won't let me past this point. Initially, I thought that it was a problem with the game, so I exchanged it for another copy, but the second one does the same thing. Can anyone give me some insight? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

    Just go <a href="http://www.macplay.com/support/icewinddale.shtml"; target="_blank">here</a>for the latest patch. This issue popped up with Jaguar.

    Thank you thank you thank you! I will do that as soon as I can connect to the internet (see my post in the Genius Bar). Sigh... I haven't had a mac since I was eight, and I feel stupid now because I am unable to do anything.
