Can I activate a new .Mac subscription with a .Mac 4.0 package?



I am going to activate a new .Mac subscription and noticed that Amazon.com is selling the .Mac 4.0 for $80 while selling the .Mac 5.0 for $95.



Can I save $15 by buying the older version?

    um... there is no difference.



    If you buy a .mac retail box, all it has is a key number to activate the subscription. The actual "service" is an online thing and everyone gets the same thing. I can't believe they'd be selling them at two different prices... it makes no sense whatsoever.
